Fees

The INTERTANKO Council at its meeting in November 2022, decided that fees for 2023 will have to increase.

2023 rate for Full Members

US$1,880 per ship + US$0.0095 per dwt (all vessels independent of type)

The yearly fee is based on the fleet as at 1 January. Any acquisitions or sales during a year do not trigger any additional invoices nor credit notes. Changes are reflected the following year.

How to calculate your rate

(US$1,880 x number of tankers) + (US$0.0095 x total dwt) = annual fee

Example

The Annual Membership Fee for a fleet of six tankers with a total dwt of 397,433 for 2023 is calculated as follows:

(US$1,880 x 6) + (US$0.0095 x 397,433) = US$11,280 + US$3,776 = US$15,056

Fleet definition

The fleet is defined as all tank vessels which the Member owns and/or manages, including tank vessels of affiliated and associated companies.

Minimum and maximum fees

The minimum fee is US$6,585 and the maximum is US$79,950
